Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of contractorgrowthlab.com (the “Site”) and the services provided by General Informatics LLC, doing business as Contractor Growth Lab (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

We build websites and provide front-desk automation for home-services contractors — including website design, missed-call text-back, an AI receptionist, and online scheduling. Specific deliverables, pricing, and timelines are described on the Site and confirmed with you before you pay.

Demos and third-party brands

We prepare free demo website concepts using publicly available business information. A demo is a concept mockup for illustration only. Unless we are actually working together, we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any business shown in a demo, and each business's name, logo, and branding remain the property of their respective owners. If your business appears in a demo and you want it removed, email hello@contractorgrowthlab.com and we will remove it promptly.

Fees and payment

Website builds are billed as a one-time fee; ongoing front-desk services are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the then-current billing period. Prices are shown on the Site and confirmed before purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you agree to their terms when you pay. Fees are exclusive of any applicable taxes. You see the finished website demo before you pay anything for it.

Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and to have the rights to any content, logos, photos, or materials you give us to use. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content you ask us to publish, and for maintaining access to your own domain and accounts.

Intellectual property

Once your project is paid for, you own your website content and the site as delivered, and it runs on your own domain — if you ever leave, you keep both. We retain ownership of our own underlying tools, templates, code frameworks, and know-how, and of the Site itself.

Cancellation

Monthly services can be cancelled anytime and are not subject to a long-term contract. One-time website projects are governed by the scope and any refund terms agreed at purchase.

No guarantee of results

We work hard to build effective websites and tools, but we do not and cannot guarantee specific results — such as a particular number of leads, calls, bookings, search rankings, or revenue. The Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, General Informatics LLC and its owners and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue, arising out of or relating to the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of content or materials you provide, your use of the services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Third-party services

The Site and services rely on third-party providers (for example, Stripe for payments and Cal.com for scheduling). Your use of those features may also be governed by the third party's own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
